Nice colors

It's about Vector Trends, yet i see no trendwhore things going on in the piece.

Looks pretty cool to me.

Well its not only about Vector Trends. But do you know how many pieces of art there are on this site that are very much similar to the guy on that magazine cover? More than I can count. And that's not even counting the vector art throughout the internet and abroad. I admit that this isn't some remarkablly new technique, and that I'm not the only one that has just learned Vector Art. The whole cover of the magazine is trendwhoring. At this very second, there are say, 20 people about to post their piece of vector art to the site. If its not trendy, then I don't know what is.

Hmm..I' dont know...I usually don;t like to say bad things about something but in this particular case and since you're a designer too I think I have to comment on this one. I personally think the the layout is too static, too plain...it's boring when it should be an attention catcher. Secondly...it seems to me that there's no order in the elements of the composition...elements aren't properly aligned...let's take for example the left side of the compostion...the farthest elemnt is the upper left corner on the "V" and maybe it should have been the guide to align elements. None of those elements are aligned to each other so makes and overall impression of "what a mess". I like the "Design" logo...looks a bit more adventurous just like the rest of the magazine should be. The date should be centered between the boxes. Typography use is right though again I would suggest something a bit more wilder. Vector Trends shoukld be in bold to give more attention to it.
